As non politically correct as it may be..I believe Islam is false religion set upon the earth by Satan to fight against the Church of God.
Who are the infidels they battle against? ...Jews and Christians, all who worship the same God.
If Jesus is the Son of God, God would not send a true prophet 500 years later to battle against the faith His Son brought to earth.
The holiest places for the Jews and the Christians have been defiled by Mosques to their false God...especially in Jesusalem where the Temple Mount is under Moslem control. It is no surprise that after conquering the Holiest Jewish location on earth, they would eye the Vatican, the center of Catholic Christianity.
Wake up...this is the beginning of the battle spoken of in the Bible.
"Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke satan, we humbly pray, an do thou, O prince of the heavenly hosts, cast into hell satan and his demons who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls, AMEN"
I'm no prophecy scholar either; but the original post on this thread makes me wonder...
I never considered that the antichrist might be muslim until a few people mentioned it during various posts on this war on terrorism.
Originally, I thought the antichrist would probably come out of the European Union and be based, at least at first, in Rome. I also thought there was a good chance he'd be Jewish, since satan seems to try to imitate God. But now it makes sense that satan would use Ishmael, rather than a Jew, since he was man's attempt to fulfill God's promise to Abraham when God seemed to be working too slowly.
Having read the original article in this thread, I can kind of see how this might all fit together.
If the muslims take over Europe politically, they will have conquered both the EU and Rome and will indeed own and rule both. If they eventually take over all the world, then they would obviously have their one-world government. It wouldn't take much for them to then establish their theocracy with its shia(?) law. Nor would it be a big leap for the beast to demand that the world worship him. We also know that he will be given the power to subdue the saints for a time, and this would certainly fit in with islam since they kill anyone who won't convert.
From the standpoint of prophecy about Israel, this scenario would also seem to fit. I believe that the antichrist will make a false peace with Israel, then break it. I also believe that Israel will recognize him as the antichrist when he defiles the temple. And we know that Jesus will return to save them, and to begin His thousand year rule on earth.
So, is this how it's going to go down? I don't know. I imagine that many in Europe could have imagined a similar scenario with Hitler and his SS. But Israel had not been given back to the Jews yet at that time.
OTOH, whatever part of the timeline we're in, it's my duty to stand against islam, whether it turns out to be just an antichrist or the antichrist Depending on where we are in God's timetable, we'll either defeat islam and move on, or Jesus will come and defeat them. Either way, we're assured of eventual victory.
FWIW, those are my thoughts on the matter :)
The second Sheik listed in that article said that. The first one did not, and he was the guy who said that the conquest would not be by the sword. I'm defending him, not the others.
I assumed that you were joining those who are condemning the writings of the first listed cleric, which was the only one I'm attempting to defend. I simply pointed out that what he advocates is the same prosleytizing that most of us believe Christians are entitled to do. If I was wrong, and you don't see anything wrong with what is being advocated by the first cleric, then I'd withdraw my comment. But I made that assumption because you seemed to be picking a nit on one of the only people on the thread who isn't calling for another crusade.
I hate the stupid media in the west that is constantly dissing this holy mission to defend the Christian holyland from the barbaric Moslems. These losers strted in the Saudi Arabia. That is where Arabs are, and where Moslems belong. They concored most of Africa, some of Europe and Asia. They converted people by F O R C E to Islam, they changed their language to Arabic, and now all these countries that were never Arabs are forced to call themselves Arab nations!
Barbarism and hate from the stone age, is sitll alive and well in the Islamic hearts.
They will also make more gains in western China and southern Russia.
I don't see anyone stopping them. After all, they aren't Al Qaeda (that's what most say). Europe has no stomach for any limitations on immigration. Not a problem ya, see.
I don't even think Russia and China will do anything. Just like in our Southwest, unchecked immigration is a powerful force to change a country or a portion of it.
PS: The Europeans and white Americans just don't wnat to kick out those babies anymore. Their spark is dying.
Hey, I said in my post I'm no scholar :)
As far as I can remember, the Bible never actually calls him by that term; but that's how most people refer to him in discussions, and I've fallen into the same habit.
In 2Thes 2:3-4,in the KJV, he's referred to as "that man of sin" and "the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God".
The NIV calls him "the man of lawlessness" and "the man doomed to destruction. He opposes and exalts himself over everything that is called God, or is worshipped, and even sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God."
I hope that answers your question :)
Oh, give it a few more tons of blood. They are overreaching and will be stopped, one way or another.
I'd prefer a nuclear burnoff, possibly with a bio component - it should be doable to target a plague against any descendant of the house of Saud, for example. But of course, if they "win" (are allowed to spread), that also means the end of most life. Tip for you: compare the spread of deserts with the spread of islam - just place the two maps on top of each other.
