I thought that, just last week, Bill Clinton declared that the Democrats don't have a "destruction machine." Did Lott's comment really rise to the level of a resigning offense?

Lott make an idiotic (no argument) comment at an old man's birthday party and forgot about his affiliation from over half a century ago.

Honestly, it was just a stupid goof up.

He's not pining for the Jim Crow era like Gore and the whore brigade tries to make it sound.

For the first time I can remember (and probably for the wrong reasons) he IS the example.

I just wanted him to remember it every time he spills this "evil right wing" stuff to the press.

We really are better than them and I take every opportunity to prove it.
