The Stupid Left does not know that communism produces gulags. The Satanic Left supports communism precisely because it produces gulags and also because the Satanic Leftists presume they will be placed in charge of the gulags.

A few of these are a bit off, IMHO:

The Stupid Left thinks socialism works. The Satanic Left wants socialism because it knows it does not. thinks it will get to rule. (echoing an earlier point)

But generally good enough. Saw this in action viewing some 70s protests, where the agitators would whip up the crowd and then suddenly vanish when the riot-control police showed up.

GREAT point about the '60s leaders leaving the sheeple when the going got rough. We could see it in a similar context after the mid-term election, where suddenly none of the big Democrat leaders -- who had been everywhere prior to the event -- were available for comment. Until the radical-liberal "children of the '60s" are out of power -- or the majority of Americans wise up -- this sort of behavior will continue.

Actually, the Satanic Left doesn't care whether socialism works - they only care that it is a system under which they can acquire the most personal power for themselves. Kind of like Hillary who used to be a Goldwater girl in the early 60's - she quickly saw that the Left is where she needed to be if she wanted to amass great personal power (true) while at the same time not caring in the slightest how many millions of Americans suffer and die as a result (also true).

The derivation of the Hanlon eponym is not definitely known, but a very similar remark ("You have attributed conditions to villainy that simply result from stupidity.") appears in "Logic of Empire", a 1941 story by Robert A. Heinlein, who calls it the `devil theory' of sociology.

Heinlein's popularity in the hacker culture makes plausible the supposition that `Hanlon' is derived from `Heinlein' by phonetic corruption.

A similar epigram has been attributed to William James, but Heinlein more probably got the idea from Alfred Korzybski and other practitioners of General Semantics. Quoted here because it seems to be a particular favorite of hackers, often showing up in sig blocks, fortune cookie files and the login banners of BBS systems and commercial networks. This probably reflects the hacker's daily experience of environments created by well-intentioned but short-sighted people. Compare Sturgeon's Law.

They love the idea of "choice" regarding abortion but not schools...
You can kill an unborn human child at a whim...and you cant own a gun to protect another child from rape or murder...
They rant about rape...yet refuse to allow a woman to own and carry a handgun to protect herself from the violent crime of rape or the murder done to cover it up
They are all for rights in the ghetto...except the right to defend yourself from gangs and violent crime...(in the very place violent crime is most prevalent)

The other day I talked with a liberal/leftist - (a family member, unfortunately - I come from an ultra leftist family) who said that communism hasn't worked because it wasn't applied properly, but the "ideas" weren't at fault. She quickly had to admit, though, that once the personal incentive is taken away no one wants to work. She is (I hope!) a "stupid" leftist.
My husband escated from an eastern European country 20 years ago and saw communism up close and personal. It ruins countries and ruins people. People become lazy, irresponsible and dishonest (I'm speaking in generalities of course, there are always exceptions!). It's "who you know" - trying to hang out with the "in crowd" so you can get special priviliges and so forth. It brings out the worst in people. (What to speak of gulags!)
Having grown up with leftists and become a black sheep, I can agree with this article. And also with his point that Stupid leftists become evil - or they become smarter. The leftist philosphy perverts the human spirit.
