I agree. Get rid of thursday games.
On the other hand I would love to see saturday night football!!. They should have a game every sat. night. I would imagine the only reason they dont is because they figure TV ratings would be too low.

Oh, sure, they CAN win easily by 8 or more. But WILL they? As Chris Bermann would say..."that's why they play the game." Sad to say, my Raiders tend not to play well in the last game of the regular season

A big contributing question is, "Which Chiefs Defense will show up?" Will it be the one who gave 40+ points to Cleveland at the beginning, or the one who stuff the Raiders at Arrowhead? :)

And the Giants fumble deeeep into Iggle territory.

07 Eagles

2nd/3:25 left

Somewhere, the Aints have a ray of hope and the Falcs are getting ready to print playoff tickets.

Raider have the same disease as Miami does - fear of getting into the playoffs.

So that is the Giants problem today!

So, do my beloved Cincinnati Bungals have a chance for the playoffs?

I ran your question past my Football Guru Buddy and surprizingly he said yes!

The Scenario is not all that complicated and is as follows:

31 other NFL teams, 31 Planes, 31 Arab Shoe Bombers. Result: Bungals still lose the Super bowl by 3 touchdowns!

Not only that but for those of us who have to work, staying up til 1am on Monday nights (I get up at 5:30am) and then having to do it all over again Thursday nights gets to be too much.

Saturday night football sounds good to me.

I am suprised that nobody has anything to say about the buttwhipping Pitino just laid on KY.
There must be some very unhappy boosters in Lexington today.

I actually like the snow and cold. I'm used to it and shoveled myself out the other day in my shirtsleeves. It's the hot and muggy weather that I have the most trouble with!

I know. That's why you guys always lose in Miami in September. ;-)

Well, may the best team win tomorrow. If the Pats win, I'll be rooting for them the rest of the way since my Eastern Division loyalties go all the way back to the AFL days.

Off the field, the aunt says he's mostly quiet and soft-spoken and hangs with people who are.

He just got creamed!

The Giants have played typical Giants ball all season. Come out strong, give up 1/4 of the way into the season and win enough to have a winning season.

Though I shouldn't say too much, my team lost to the Giants twice this season.
