The Steelers get one good game against one of the weakest offenses in the NFL and we break the towels out? :)

The Towel is not a flag of victory, but a tool to root root root for the home team, especially come playoff time.

Told y'all it was wet. Hopefully they'll be spared by any lightning strikes. Had one boomer an hour or so ago.

To: Let's Roll
A good friend's grandfather up in WI said he had 6 Packers season tickets. I've never been up there for a game (as a matter of fact, I've only been to Cowgirl games in God's toilette bowl - I live N. of Dallas); Dullus Cowgirls and their freak owner Jerry Dingleberry Jonez deserve each other. Hey Tuna, don't take the job!

I was offered (back in early August) one of the tickets to last weekend's Pack/Bills contest. I flew into Green Bay via Chicago O'Hare. I couldn't believe how small the town is (not much bigger than Denton, TX).

I love it up there. I was fully prepared for a very cold day. I had my ski jacket and bib. It turned out to be relatively mild (low 30s). The fans at Lambeau are awesom. Many wear cammo gear or deer-hunter orange [NRA friendly] and some folks have really cool hats made from various animal pelts (racoon, coyote, fox?, skunk!). It seems like almost all in attendance were pulling for the Pack - I was (and I'm a Redskin fan - I hate little Danny S. though). There was a couple dudes in my section (103 - end zone) wearing Bills jerseys. Both had on O.J.'s jersey. Thought that was strange. Even though there was a lot of beer drinkin' going on - every one I ran into was great and jolly - maybe they all wanted to be treated well by St. Nick :-)

Anyway, the Packers won 10-0. I had a great time; got to see the venue where Lombardi's (a great American of Italian heritage) kid-os spanked the Dullus Cowgirlz in the Ice Bowl, chowed down on cheese curds, drank lots o' beer, and got to see what Titletown was all about - screw all those big market teams - I experienced a real slice of America.

Go Pack... beat the Jets tomorrow!

p.s. If I can figure out how to post a photo on FreeRepublic.com, I'll attach one of my Titletown experience (still waiting on development - Christmas backlog at the photo finish store).

Confession is good for the soul. I don't mind the Redskins add (I just entered the teams that were still in contention). The Fudgepacker type comments, well, there must be some disgrunted Eagles, Vikings, Bears, Lions, 9ers, whoever fan. Sore Losermans. ;-)

As a Redskins fan do you think it's possible for me to make a comment about football without slamming the Cokeboys?

C-C-Can't we along just get alonnnng? ;-)

Well, as a Raider fan, I've managed to not slam the hated eeeeeevil Chiefs (thus far). Winning is its own reward. Washington can do their part and make mincemeat out of the 'Boys tomorrow. Best wishes.

Mincemeat is exactly what your team is doing to the Chiefs right now. Well, more like soggy mincemeat but a messy win is still a win.

Another Raiders touchdown!! Congrats!!!
