FBI Looking for Five Illegal Immigrants

WASHINGTON –– The FBI said Sunday it is looking for five men of Arab ancestry who may have entered the country illegally last week.

The agency said the five men are believed to have arrived in the United States on or before Christmas Eve.

The five men are: Abid Noraiz Ali, Iftikhar Khozmai Ali, Mustafa Khan Owasi, Adil Pervez and Akbar Jamal, all born between 1969 and 1983. The FBI warned that the names and birth dates may be false.

The FBI said it had no indication the men were linked to terrorist activities, but still wanted to question the five "based upon information developed in the course of ongoing investigations."

The FBI said it was working with the Customs, Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Transportation Security Agency to find the men.

These guys were on a FBI watch list and the FBI watched them enter our country on Christmas Eve. This is a terror cell and they knew security would be lax on Christmas Eve. Something is up.

IF they slipped thru in unmonitored locations, then why are they reporting the men were acting suspiciously? (Unless the fact they slipped over illegal was suspicious in itself), which leads me to the next question. How did they know they crossed the border if no one saw them?

They tried to use this same route but we caught the guy at the border...let me see if I can find the story.

I saw a video retrospective on this (I think CNN), and the guy at the Washington State border was a lady. She said the terrorist (a guy) was nervous, in fact sweating. Fairly stupid attempt, with suspicious stuff in his trunk.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be a serious freak-out factor involved with these guys? CNN was saying that some or all of their names have come up in other investigations. Don't think I want to know what the other investigations were about.

Good point jimbo......how did the FBI get these five illegals photos???

Could they be known ‘persons of interest’ for lack of a better term, and the FBI just connected the names to people who have crossed the boarder. They do not take pictures at border crossings.

Well, going on the miniscule information we have, I would say they were acting suspiciously in Canada. Then they disappeared from view, and we picked up info that they had made it into the USA.

This is simply my conjecture, trying to make sense of the situation with crummy information. I will cheerfully entertain other theories.
