Scott Peterson loved his wife too much to harm her, his family and in-laws say.

The only thing I've heard on Fox today was the airplane in Germany and the bombing in Israel - now I've switched to football. If you hear anymore on this, please ping me.

Please post it here if you hear more. Hit by a car? or just dumped?

Hooboy! Let me clarify this! I heard a RUMOR that fox was reporting this! I do not have a teevee! Sorry for the confusion. The RUMOR could prove to be false!
Apologies all around!

That is the best way to get rumors.

The dog was found by a neighbor about 10:30 a.m. I think. The dog had a leash on and the neighbor didn't think anything of it and put the dog in the Peterson's back yard.

Please ... humans do not become angels when they go to heaven. GOD created angels and HE created humans. They are not interchangable.

Each night he returns to their house on Covena Avenue, where the baby's room awaits its new occupant, where unopened Christmas presents sit under the tree, and where Laci Peterson, eight months pregnant, was last seen. And he will continue his routine until Laci is found, his family said. He won't be coming home anymore once Laci is found? Hmmm?

You get this all the time "Excuse me but do you..."....etc, I generally ignore these people, unless they're well dressed, even then, I'm apprehensive, and I won't talk to people like that unless I'm with my husband.
I generally ignore these people, unless they're well dressed
That is one of the most arrogant, unintelligent comments that I have heard in a long time. WHat about John Wayne Gacy?? Ted Bundy?? Jeez...

At the Red Lion Hotel, a note from Scott Peterson hangs in the volunteer center: ``As I see every person come through this door, or out searching, I tell Laci about them looking for her. Early this morning I felt she could hear me. She thanks you.'' It is signed, ``Laci's husband.'' This strikes me as quite weird too.

And women who don't complain one bit about their husbands usually are facing problems they either don't want to discuss or acknowledge.Or they are discreet and don't blab.
This is not a statement on whether he should be a suspect or not (he should, of course).
To: FITZ
Maybe he is a wacko psycho, but every family member except Laci is certain he is Mr. Perfect. That's the only idea I can think of, where she would have felt it necessary to disappear. Of course, that theory would work also, if in fact he killed her. :-(

That's why I said 'usually' ---I see women (and men) all the time griping about this and that ---their old lady won't let them play poker with the guys every night, their husband leaves his socks on the floor....it seems that the stronger marriages actually have more of it. I don't think never complaining about a spouse indicates a strong marriage at all.

I don't think she would have disappeared on her own because it seems like she always wanted to be near her family. She didn't want him taking a job in Ohio so she could stay by her family, they sold the business to be nearer to her family. That doesn't sound like a woman who would run off when she's most vulnerable and about to have a baby. Perfect people can be pretty scary because they aren't always letting on that they've got problems.

Thanks for the dog report. The end of this story just can't be good... . BTW, I just love your screen name!

the onion had a pretty funny article, something about "media to try suspects to help free up bloated justice system" we could get some FReepers to do the same! Awriiight! I'm there!
Will we allow character evidence?
"Scott is a nice guy. They were a happy couple."
"Scott was too humble to be a super-successful salesman. Now, everyone knows only men who are in financial trouble kill their wives. If he wasn't super-successful, he must've been in financial trouble. Therefore..."
"Scott had a smile on his face in the picture of him at the candlelight vigil. Only an animalistic killer could smile at a time like that."
Or we could just jabber on, sharing information about the case, and sharing thoughts.

Did anyone read the story that they are searching the park near Alcatraz? They found a blue tarp. Can't recall the name of the park. Chavez, I think. 2 words. Near or adjacent to Berkeley Marina. Don't have the info with me. On home computer.
Dogs traced the scent to that areas and sonar located something in the body of water as well.
Scott did it. I'm certain of that.

I make it my practice to never say anything negative about my husband to other people. Complaining about my husband wouldn't edify him, me or our marriage...instead, it would harm it.
