I read some place today that Dean has just compared Rush Limbaugh to Father Coughlin. In essence, that basically means calling Limbaugh an anti-Semitic fascist.

Your welcome! I am amazed at the information already coming out of the RNC Research Department. They are not letting any RATs get out in front of them!

Please let this goof win the primary. Let the nation know what the real left wing in this country is really like.

I am disappointed only 51% of the people oppose gay civil unions. That number could flip soon, and then what?

This man is the most dangerous of all the Dim candidates. He is in it for the ideology, whereas the rest are primarily in it for themselves.

He's a die hard supporter of gun rights, as of states rights, well, he's so far out of the mainstream with the rest of the country, that only with states rights could he implement his weird bizarro vision of socialism. The one thing I will give him is that unlike every other RAT canidate, he's actually honest about what he believes while they all lie to get middle ground votes, then again, he may not be honest, he might just be insane and thing the whole country supports him.

I've seen that number thrown around before, I doubt its accuracy, though, if its accurate, I don't think that would mean 49% support gay unions, just that most of them at this point probably don't care. It could be a solid 51% oppose, with who knows who supports, some don't care, while others have no clue what it means. On the other hand, it could also be statistical manipulation. In a high school class, and even in college, we learned how polls can be manipulated with the questions and definitions. Thats why abortion polls are highly innacurate (hell, I had a pro-abortion teacher who basically said that by playing with questions the right way, you could make alot of conservatives appear pro-choice). The example she gave was, if the questions says "Do you believe in abortion in either rape, or incest or threat to a mothers life, would that be okay", the other question would be "do you think abortion should be legal in all cases", third choice, was "do you believe that regardless of rape, incest or even if a mothers life is in danger, abortion should be illegal". If you said yes, to any of the first 2 questions, you were listed as pro-choice, if you said yes to the 3rd question, then you were pro-life. Alot of media polls do the same thing.

I think you've got that right. Plus he has no serious baggage that I know of. No closet full of skeletons like Bubba had coming out of Arkansas and he made it. He is leaving VT an economic basket case for incoming Rep. Gov. Jim Douglas to try and clean up. Thousands have lost their jobs recently and businesses that can are moving out.
