Ms. Duin was a trouper. She stayed with us all day in the cold. (Okay, like the rest of us she sought refuge in the sandwich shop at 8th and I St. :-)

Did you spot any Hamas or Hezbollah flags? Word had it they'd show, and by the barracks. Did this happen?
Congratulations for the great show today. We were all with you from behind our tv's, radios, and on FR.

Outstanding conduct today Freeper. You and your war party routed the enemy in the finest of Freeper traditions. I've seen a couple of the pics. of USMC Joe K. and Free Republic's faithful Kristinn T. standing shoulder to shoulder on the battle field. Dr Raoul was featured on FOX news today. He was shown blasting the numbskulls with psyops tactics using his trusty bullhorn incessantly. His poster board was readable as well. From recollection: Hey Commies Lost ? Go Home. Thanks for all you do. From out in the heartland- freepersup

Caught the rebroadcast of the protest on C-SPAN (had to work today so I missed it live.) I believe the more the anti-war movement gets air time, the better. Seeing and hearing the parade of socialists, abortionists, anarchists, reparationists/racists, anti-semites, and tie-dyed 60's counter-culture retro-hippies will serve to wake people up to the terrorist sympathizers (and/or clueless useful idiots) in our midst. There are reasons to be against this war, but I heard none of them articulated by the motley collection assembled today.
Kudos to the freepers that braved the cold (and the protesters B.O.) to stand with our soldiers.

Just saw you guys on C_SPAN re-run on the west coast.
Good job, nice chants.
You got some good coverage considering they wouldn't tape your event.

Saw y'all on C-Span just a few minutes ago. Recognized you right off even when the camera was a ways off, because of all the American and Marine Corp flags waving in the breeze over your section. Someone in your group was singing God Bless America on a bullhorn. Was a beatiful sight to behold, especially considering the great masses of anti-American communist agitators we had been watching just before. Recognized several of you in the crowd. You, TGSLTakoma, Dr Raul, and others. Thank you all so much for being there!

This Lutheran salutes the some of the Greatest reformers of our times : the DC Chapter. God bless.
Though devils all the world should fill, all eager to devour us.
We tremble not, we fear no ill, they shall not overpower us.
This worlds prince may still scowl fierce as he will,
He can harm us none, hes judged; the deed is done;
One little Word can fell him.

Great sound bites here. Too bad that the main-line press will ignore them.
Interesting situation though, the "peace and love" crowd tried to rush the lines of those who had the gaul to use one of "their" means of getting our their message? Gee, imagine that!

BRAVO once again to the DC Chapter for bravely countering the brainwashed & unwashed mob yesterday! Thank you also to Bob Dornan, Curtis Sliwa and his Guardian Angels, Veterans and other counter-protesters.
I'm sorry we could not join you, but we were already committed to a Washington DC trip for CPAC - we were unable to make the long trip twice in one month.
THANK YOU, Patriots... nutmeg & zelig
