Great idea. Maybe a computer savvy FReeper will do just that!

go to

http://www.alexa.com/?p=Det_W_g_40_T1

then go to the right side of the dark blue bar, and hit "FREE TOOLBAR". It is a small file that loads a toolbar on your browser. It also loads an uninstall option on the main menu if you don't like it. The toolbar shows you the ranking of every site you go to and related sites.

"when people land here they stay here for a longer period of time then any other website"

I have a browser open to "latest posts" 24/7! Does that count?

1) Make more hits on FR.

Not a problem! I'd be happy to help.

2) Respond to a good post.

I'm doing it now!

No...it has to do with hits after landing here I believe.

"I have a browser open to "latest posts" 24/7! Does that count?"

Only once when the browser first opens, then it counts the number of pages opened on the same site. Alexa is pretty good for updated information on the Internet

Many times after clicking on a topic, I first drop down to the comments so I can get the gist of the articles by the reactions.

I do this more and more lately. I've been here long enough that I feel comfortable 'filtering' my reading this way. If the responders trash the article, I often skip it. The responses alone are usually much more informative than the articles, too.
