Seat belts are only for keeping people from being ejected from the car. Some of the time it's better to stay in the car, and sometimes it's not.
That's why it has to be a law... see?? ;-)

There might be some video, at least after the fact. I heard the young man interviewed on a Kansas City radio station known for its irreverent humor this morning. The young man was articulate, candid, funny and reverent all at the same time. It always throws the shock jocks off when the are bid a "God bless you" when saying good bye.

I'm afraid someone might try this stunt on "Jacka$$". On second thought..... did someone have the sense to post this on DU? ;-)

The Jeep's fiberglass top was ripped off, and Thompson, who was not wearing a seat belt, I sure hope the cops cited him for not wearing a seatbelt. After all, it's for his own good.

I heard that this morning. The guy had a great sense of humor about it all. Tom Bergeron (sp) was on right after him and wanted to know if there was a video to send in to his show "World's Funniest Videos". They kid said he would try to get the video that was taken after the fact.

I would have done a double back flip and landed on my feet! So, I take it from your post that you may be something of a gymnast and sorta 'bendy'?
Hmmm, if I wasn't married, and assuming you weren't either, I would almost HAVE to ask you out. ;^)

LOL. Aren't you a little young to be posting here?

Either that, or he hasn't had his after school nap yet.

''God was definitely in control,'' he said. Uh, if God was really in control, wouldn't the accident have been avoided in the first place?
God gets blamed for everything.

Uh, if God was really in control, wouldn't the accident have been avoided in the first place? Well, apparently, God taught the kid a lesson, didn't He? It seems to me that God was in control.

''God was definitely in control,'' I guess that answers the question about what kind of vehicle Jesus would drive!
