CAIR asks FBI not to probe mosques (whiny Moslem alert)
Jewish World Review ^ | Jan. 30, 2003 | UPI

(UPI) -- A prominent U.S. civil rights and advocacy group urged the Department of Justice Tuesday to rescind a new policy directive to the FBI to count local mosques for inclusion in performance goals in counter terrorism investigations.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations made that demand following the publication of an article in Newsweek magazine detailing the policy instituted by FBI Director Robert Mueller earlier this month.

According to Newsweek, FBI field offices nationwide are to develop demographic profiles of their regions, including the number of local mosques. The profiles will then be used to set specific numerical goals for investigations and wiretaps in each area. If field offices do not meet their goals, they may be subjected to special reviews by teams from FBI headquarters.

No problem, DoughtyOne. I get them mixed up too. I know which is which, but the names throw me off sometimes. Don't feel bad.

Mosques should not be exempt from FBI scrutiny; these are bastions for Muslim extremists; there is no separation of 'church and state' or 'hate' for these people.

'NO' to CAIR. . .and a flying leap for all of them as well.

So, if you are in this country expecting to be protected by the bill of rights and the constitution, and than use your pulpit to stir your masses into action against our government. If, you preach to your followers to take up arms or bombs to kill; innocent persons than you are a terrorists who deserves to arrested and locked up for the rest of our life.

Correct. The Constitution is not a death pact.

...and the FBI should listen to the professional whiners at CAIR, why?

They've already found six terrorists here in Oregon, associated with one of their "Islamic Centers."

True. I don't like the quota idea.

I just get a bit ticked off at this idea from the likes of CAIR that "oh, there's no reason to look in mosques rather than churches or synagogues!" That's just flat-out false. Like it or not, many Muslims in the U.S. are associated with Wahabbism, which is basically treasonous in a country like ours.

I doubt anyone at CAIR would report on terrorist acts being planned at any of their mosques. Of course they don't want any Arab investigated.

CAIR should tell the Muslims here that they should return home to their Islamic paradises. They should want to live in their own countries since they have made them all under Sharia law ---they are a bit inconsistent by moving to a non-Islamic country like the USA in the first place.

The left has no leg to stand on. They support bans and confiscations of what they dub "weapons of choice for criminals and terrorists" such as "Saturday night specials," "assault weapons" and .50 cal "military sniper rifles," Constitutional guarantees about the right to keep and bear arms notwithstanding.

Given that Islam is the religion of choice for criminals aand terrorists, on what basis can they argue some sort of Constitutional protection of Mosques or Muslims?

This is not to say that I endorse any infringement of Constitutional liberties - much the opposite, but they can't reasonable expect some rights to be held sacred while they earnestly shred others.

I am sick and tired of Muslims in this country whining non-stop! The FBI can go in any church they like in this country and no one would complain if they had just cause to- the Muslims in this country don't deserve any special treatment. The FBI should tell them to shove it!

ONCE the USA places the Shari'a ABOVE our laws of the USA we will be DOOMED!

Islamic Law, or Shari'a, is held by Muslims to be a complete legal system that governs every aspect of individual and social life and is derived directly from the Quran and the Traditions and Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad in the seventh century of the Christian Era.

Make no mistake about it...CAIR wants to TRUMP our Constitution and Laws with their POS Shari'a

Thanks for the ping!

Gee, you don't suppose the mo-slimes might possibly be doing something they shouldn't do you? Or maybe - just maybe - some mosques are being used as recruiting centers for jihadists?

Naw, that couldn't possibly be! (/sarcasm)

It is religious profiling of the worst kind and must be rescinded if America is to maintain respect for religious freedom and for equal justice under the law," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad.

And it's about bloody time that the FBI realized that Islam is the Enemy.

Since all moslem men between the ages of 12 and 55 or so have to be counted as terrorists (read the koran) then we had better be tracking them.

Denton also was impressed by the Islamic belief that each individual will be judged by their deeds on Judgment Day.

And since God is perfect He demands perfection from us. What's that mr moslem, you went 55 1/2 MPH in a 55 mph zone just once? Straight to hell with you sinner.

God demands perfection from us. And since only Jesus lived a perfect life we must get to heaven on Jesus' coat tails. John 3:16. There is no other way.

You know something, any FBI agent is welcome in our church at any time. He would be treated with respect.

For the record I am not blind to my rights and to how LEO tend to abuse my rights. I respect LEO but treat them with respect and openess. It does help to live where I live. A couple of days ago I drove into a city park in Delta at 10:30 pm. There were 3 cars parked there. Before I saw what they were they all flipped on their lights at the same time. Turns out the cops were meeting there for break and just wanted to play a joke on me when I drove in. We all laughed and I drove off. Nice cops.

CAIR asks FBI not to probe mosques

That is one of the dumbest things CAIR has ever done.

A very good point. Selective adherence to constitutional principles doesnt apply here. Another good point made on this thread is Why would Muslims want to move a secular country like ours in the first place?? The answer; to erode from within......

Memo to CAIR: Go ahead and inspect the protestant churches while you're at it, nothing too subversive in the basement. Tell you what, keep a tally of all the places of worship that house weapons and preach killing of infidels and death to Israel and to the USA, and we'll make up a bar graph. Then whichever faith has a problem will be fair grounds for profiling.
