The pup I'm buying in June (downpayment already paid) is from a champion bitch and a pointed sire... so no, both parents are not proven champions. But they are both OFA'd good and the dam is actually Good +++ or something.
I'm not ready to show, myself, but it's something I think about for a time when my kids are grown.

I am having a great deal of fun watching people's mouths drop open. I rescued my boy's mama, too. She's fabulous, but was beat too badly to show, so she's the "princess on the bed".
If you ever want to breed, a course in genetics is invaluable.

Instead, one might consider adopting a free cat or dog from the classifieds and using the money towards shots or neutering. I got Casper for $10 from the classifieds, and the woman (who worked to place a lot of rescued strays) threw in a 3.5lb bag of Science Diet. Best $10 I ever spent. What a wonderful story! I'm sure your favorite kitty loves you and is very glad you had the $10. Hugs!

That's what I was saying.
Just charge by the pound and notify the local Oriental restraunts...yum yum

Sure why not give our money to Puerto Rico . While breeders here have to insist on spaying any they sell.
