In this case, as soon as they see "White House", they'll get stuck in a loop, like a dogma chasing it's tail.

They will claim that those in the White House who said this and those at the DEA who are responsible are all just hold-overs from the Clinton Administration and make some stupid, nonsensical comment about how drug prosecutions went down during CLinton's term because he wanted to legalize drugs.

That would be stupid and nonsensical, since more people were busted under Clinton than under Reagan and Bush the First combined.

Yeh, pretty comforting to know that many of the people who were "on the take" during their stint in the WOD may be "on the take" in their role on the War on Terror. If you can be bribed by drug cartels.....

Yes in deed, but the drug warrior's only weapon is lies. That's exactly why I would expect one to make such a comment - they have before on numerous occasions. They have even claimed that the stats proving this are fabricated. Quite a funny crew....

Is the Iraqi propaganda news agency hiring? They need people who can claim with a straight face that any evidence, no matter how solid, is "fabricated".

Should we ping them, or would you say that their email network has gotten the word out to them to stay away? Maybe their masters have ordered them to stay out of this thread for its embarrassment potential...

Isn't it. The same guy who blew off the Mena operation running in his backyard for years is now in control of the borders under homeland security. Something tells me business as usual will be the result.

It has enjoyed generally strong support on Capitol Hill, and its former director, Asa Hutchinson, who left last week to join the Homeland Security Department, was popular among conservatives in Congress.
Who gets to be big dog now? Has anyone been named?

Government Management: "You have utterly failed to do your job, so you only get a small raise this year."

Sad but true. However, it beats management Drug Warrior-style: "You have utterly failed to do your job, so you must have a hefty raise." I think it's been said that a good working definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.

The agency "is unable to demonstrate progress in reducing the availability of illegal drugs in the United States,"

Why don't you tell us all how great the drug war is working.

Hey, dipwad, it's based on an OFFICIAL FEDGOV REPORT. The NYT based its story on that... so now what, WODDIE?

I hope Dane (post 36) didn't disappoint... he's so typical and so mindless.

Heh...I called it in post #13

I expected at least a few "the Times is a leftie mouthpiece (as if it was the newspaper that issued the report), and besides, you like Hillary" comments.
