That's a look that's supposed to give her a casual panache, a look that the co-rapist focus-grouped before her senate campaign. It's crafted to appeal to soccer moms to soften the black suit and give her an aura of fashionability ("I know, I'll just toss this cashmere on in case I get a chill..."). It's a throwback to the preppy 80's, but you still see a few wide-eyed idiots aping the look, mostly at democratic fundraising events. I have noticed hillary's knots are getting sloppy, though.
