Being irrelevant is the key
The saying, You can fool some of the people, some of the time, but not all the people all of the time, use to be applicable. With O.J., Clinton and now Saddams defenses, never has the worlds moral compass become so tilted. Finally, comes the realization that the word IS to many, is not really IS.
As many embrace the all is relevant, defense, facts become irrelevant. So what if O.J. was found guilty in civil court, Clinton was impeached and Saddam is in material breach.
What one must realize, being irrelevant is the key. Just view the current UN Resolution 1441, what is it is other than just a nice statement, only words on paper, nothing more. And the UNs non-action regarding Saddams non-compliance points to UNs non-relevance, is all that is relevant, it means nothing.
Sadly, today comes the understanding that the stated saying must be altered to, You can now fool a lot of the people, a lot of the time. Just have the world focus on race, not murder; sex, not perjury; seek, not the hide, the foolish will be found. The goal is to become irrelevant. Then the irrelevant become relevant. If not convinced, just ask Germany, France and for that matter Hans Blix.
Tom Delay was debating a Frenchman the other day concerning our soon coming raid upon Iraq. When it appeared neither would budge from there argument Delay turned around as if to walk away when he stopped, faced the Frenchman and asked if he spoke German.
The Frenchman replied, "No".
Delay said, "Your welcome" and walked away.
