Vanity - Anyone else loving these two shows?

Two very underated shows that I think deserve Freeper support are 24 (Tuesdays at 9:00pm on Fox) and Kudlow & Cramer (Weeknights at 8:00pm on CNBC).

24 is without a doubt one of the best shows I have ever scene. On top of the great story, the terrorists in the show are actuall *gasp* middle-eastern and chechen (rather than so-called right-wing gun nuts as Hollywood tends to believe). This show takes 95% of the Hollywood PC and throws it out the window then shoots it in the head. Anyone who saw the last episode (taking the terrorists family hostage to make him talk, employing torture to make the traitor talk, etc.) knows what I am talking about.

Kudlow & Cramer: These guys are great. Two knowledgeable talking-heads who actually make sense on issues of Economy and Foreign Policy (my two fav .gov topics). They get the heavy hitters on, and pull no punches when it comes to where their support lies. They are loud, fun and almost always hitting the nail on the head. A definite must watch. (quite honestly, the entire evening CNBC lineup is pretty good, including Checkpoint, Capital Report, etc.)

Thanks for the tip. I'll check these shows out. Just put the CNBC show on. Steve Emerson is the guest.

I turn on Kudlow and Kramer when I get tired of O'Reilly ranting. Kramer rants, but is limited in his ranting, and kudlow is a doll.

But the one I REALLY love is Neil Cavuto...looks just like my husband did when we were young.(way back when my husband still had hair) AHHHH.

I love 24 - I make sure I watch or record it every week. You can go to Fox.com and find their page for 24. In case you miss a show, you can find a synopsis there which will keep you up to date. It's great and I hope to get the CD every year so I can play it again.

It's a great, great show.

I have to say that Dennis Haysbert makes a hell of a lot better president than Marty Sheen on Left Wing. Still a demorat, though, and can't be trusted. However, 24 sure copped out with that 'good' iman at the mosque last week.

I can't say enough good things about "24". I am pretty much a Fox News watcher with an occasional sitcom or drama. IOW, not a big weekly show enthusiast. But.......I will literally change my schedule or leave a meeting early to see "24".

It is extremely well done and so intense as to leave one groaning when the show ends every week and eagerly anticipating the following Tuesday. Definitely one of the best I've seen.

BTW.....word of mouth is building the show's viewership. More and more people I talk to are hooked.

Kudlow and Cramer are great and Cramer has been actually been sounding sane. It's the influence of Kudlow!!!

Cramer does rant, but his tend to be rather funny, as his head looks like it is going to blow! Kudlow is a genius IMO, but I too like Cavuto.

I just find it refreshing to see what amounts to a fairly conservative evening of TV on a network other than FoxNews

I watched 24 for the first time last week and enjoyed it immensely. Definitely not PC, and you have to wonder if Keifer Sutherland's character wasn't based(however loosely) on Tom Clancy's "John Clark".

Yeah that was a bit of a cop-out, but they did essentially catch him in a lie, and he only came clean and acted like a real American once he was told the magnitude of what is coming down the pipe. He was lying to Bower to begin with.

Jack Bauer is a hunk! What an awesome show!!!! I never miss it.....although the whole Kim story line is getting on my nerves a bit.....can't that girl stay out of trouble and when does she have the time to get a french manicure???

LOL, I know what you mean! My wife and I cringe everytime they bring her story back on. We are currently going on the assumption that the cabin that she was just taken to will play into the story in some significant way, but that whole story line (luckily only one of the concurrent 4 or 5 story lines) is DRY.

If she stayed out of trouble, then what reason would be there for her to run so bouncily?

Your a** is in jail and they still love the show.

You are meaningless.

And you still stand for nothing.
