In NE Oklahoma, we have way over 12 inches of the stuff on the ground, with drifts of nearly 3 feet. Could someone please come claim this junk and get it outa here?

We've got a sprinkling of flurries in the metro, and a little ice on bridges, so far. Looks like OKC lucked out latitudinally, again...but barely.
Fortunately, barely is good enough...the difference between a trace of snow and "drifts."

I agree! I'm sick of winter. We only got a couple of inches of snow last night, thank goodness.
I live in west central Oklahoma so we're not seeing the snow that the NE is but I have family that are trying to travel through this mess to get to CO for an uncle's funeral.

Here in Norman, about 12 miles south of OKC, we have absolutely no snow! So many times since moving up here from Texas we have seen snow stay above I-240.
Heard that roads were really treacherous the farther you went north and NE of OKC!
It really isn't the drivers here as much as the fact we don't have the equipment for snow removal. At least here in the OKC area, I haven't noticed bad drivers in the snow even though people like to say that. They are actually worse on sunny days IMO!

We are in draught. They are saying we will not be allowed to water our yards, or plant new grass, flowers, or gardens. Anyone caught planting or watering will face consequences.
