See You in Washington at the PATRIOTS RALLY! March 1st 2003 11am-3pm!!!
To: Conservababe; Jim Robinson
I and Mrs. dware were listening - had it on in the background as we were talking and hear Hannity say something about "FReepers". We both perked up and started listening. It was too cool.
Thanks Sean!!!!!!!!!

Great news! The DC Chapter's been working hard to promote this on radio, leafletting, any kinda way we can. Kudos for Sean Hannity!! The main rally prep thread is
here.
Remember, if you live local and want to help leaflet the many, many people who will be at the hockey game at the MCI arena Thursday night, I'm buying the Chinese food after the leafletting for the first 6 volunteers.

We're having one here in Nashville at Centennial Park this Friday at 6 following Phil Valentine's show. I'll be there with Wardaddy Jr....and maybe mommy and Wardaddy III if it's not too cold.

DC Chapter has been pinged. Thanks for the heads up. Libertina, this was your path to success -- we've been trying hard to get onto these radio alerts too and "ride the wave," as Bob J rightly praises you for doing. Hopefully we're catching a big wave here. We're trying.

Alright .. THANK YOU SEAN

I like Hannity. Seems like a pretty good guy. We watch him on Fox, and if in the car catch his radio show.
Even the kids recognize his voice.

I live in DC and I'm helping with the rally. If you have any questions you'd like me to answer, I'm all ears.
I do hope a lot of people come: as our troops prepare, it will mean a lot to them to see how many people come out for this patriotic, peaceful rally. Do it for the troops!

Have you seen these -->
Flyers for FReedom - Countering the leftists leafletsWish I could be there to hand them out myself. Unfortunately, a trip to DC (although definately a goal someday) is way out of the question right now. Will be with you in heart & mind from a street corner here in lil' Grand Junction, CO, though. Have fun!

Thanks. Yes, we're all apprised of the many flyers links and also I think there was a helpful FRN thread on who to call etc. Dware, even if you're in Colorado, you could help in one respect. It would be totally useful if people called into various conservative talk radio stations and told the screeners "I'm tired of these anti-American leftist protestors" etc. and *then* when they get on the air also slip in about the rally.

For anyone who cannot find a way to get to DC from their far-away hometowns... do what dware is going to do! Maek your very own "Support our Troops rally" on a busy streetcorner near where you live. Folks will appreciate your efforts, they will honk in support, they will come out and join you!
Dware... you have fun, too. And I hope you post an after-action report for your rally, too!

I got my sign all ready to go, and, as God is my witness, I WILL be there!
To: Shenandoah
Great -- we'll look for you and you might want to stop by one of the tables with buttons/literature and let us know you made it to DC. Sign-in sheets aren't mandatory, but it is nice to know that fellow FReepers attended the event. Hopefully, there will be so many people there that it will be a crush of patriots with flags, signs and loud voices cheering the troops!
