Canadian Man May Enter U.S. Women's Open

The premier woman's event in golf, to be held this July 3-6 at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Oregon, may have an unusual entry. His name is Brian Kontac. He is 31 years old and has conditional status on the PGA tour.

A former Canadian tour Order of Merit winner, Kontak told the Golf Channel in mid-February that his current plan is to tee off against women at the Open...(snip)

The Women's US Open is run by the USGA, not the LPGA.
The LPGA doesn't allow men. I'm not sure what the USGA's policy is.

This will be a real hoot if it happens.

Ive been waiting for someone to test the USGA on this...my guess is that it will end up in court

Kinda hope he gets to play and wins. The whining of the feminazis is tiresome. Maybe they'll start screeching if men enter women's sports and start walking away with titles. At least the screeching would be a change from the whining.
