Woods announces he won't play Dubai tournament

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates -- Tiger Woods announced on his website Sunday that he will not play in next week's Dubai Desert Classic due to the threat of an impending war in nearby Iraq.

It's an easy tournament. They don't use caddys. Just carry a sand wedge.
