Are you volunteering to compile it? ;-)
To: Admin Moderator
I can't do it all, but I would be glad to be part of the team and compose some of the answers to some of the questions. What I suggest is that you discuss it among the FR leadership, appoint someone "in charge" of the project, and ask for volunteers for a team. I'll be glad to be ONE of the volunteers. A groop effort involving about a dozen or so should suffice to get the job done.
To: Stefan Stackhouse
I think that is a great idea. Let's see if we get more volunteers and if we do I will work on the logistics of setting up a working place and such.

The Smoky BackroomFor some reason, the "official" FR spelling is "Smokey."
Its not vey series, nor is it realy hugh. The point maybe truely mute. Some times, than, alot of us are fast and lose with our speling here. Its alright anyways. Atleast thats the subject of a whole nuther thread. Your not loosing perspective, are you.

John eventually is going to migrate them over to topics but he has not done so yet. When he does then they would be handled just like these. That is an enhancement for which I've been patiently waiting for what seems like forever. I don't want to harp and nag JohnRob about it, because I understand that there are much higher priorities involved in the maintenance and development of forum software/hardware. But in the interim, could we PLEASE have a little refinement of the "topics" that are available for selection?
In particular, I'm thinking of the foreign nations that are currently on the list. These presently consist of canada, germany, israel, japan, mexico, russia and uk. While we certainly don't need every nation on the face of the planet listed, there are certainly newsworthy nations that are conspicuous by their absence: China, Puerto Rico, France, Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba, Korea, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, etc. If nothing else, I'd appreciate it if at least these nations for which there are a significant number of articles posted be included in the topics. Thank-you.

I wish if I subscribed to Breaking News and Front Page (or any other topic) that Breaking would still be on top (unless it's changed recently).

Any possibility that Breaking news can be broken up into Breaking, Activism, and Radio/TV announcements?
Thanks

You didn't read this full post, did you? :-)
Below the table up above, I put directions on how to accomplish exactly what you just asked.
