US War and UN Dues

I have a proposal. When we go to war and find all the weapons of mass destruction that the UN commission claims Saddam does not have, we should reduce or eliminate our membership dues to recover for the cost of the war. If the UN did their job, we would not be at war. Since the UN did not provide the services for the dues the US paid, we have the right to recover our war costs from them. If the UN squawks about it, the US should tell them to go to France and Germany. After all they were the cause of UN inaction. Let them make up for the lost US dues. Money talks all else walks.

I have an even better solution:
Never in any case give another American Taxpayer Dollar to the U.N. under any circumstances. Period.

I've got a better idea.
Get the US out of the UN, and the UN out of the US.
Think of all the $$ we'd save on UN dues, not to mention unpaid parking tickets.

We are not "going to war." We are about to implement a coercive weapons inspection regime, with 300,000+ inspectors.

Asking the UN for permission to protect the US makes as much sense as asking your mom if you can kiss your own wife.
