Note to the Colonel: the current Commander-in-Chief, like the former CiC and the one before him, has no intention whatsoever of listening to an old patriot like you. He has his orders and those orders include the surrender of our national sovereignty, our national history and our national culture; he has support from Hollywood, mainstream media, academia, our Congress and our courts of law. The defense of the Constitution and of our nation are of no matter to him nor to most who work in our nation's capitol. Thanks for your service to your country.

Yes, Ft. Huachuca has some beautiful spots. One of them is the Veterans cemetery, believe it or not. Lush, with the most beautiful old trees you could possibly imagine. Lots of History in that cemetery.

My Mother is buried there...

My reaction to Bush is the same as yours, I just can't stand him anymore. He won't even mention the problem of illegal immigration, but he keeps pushing for amnesty (though it's called by another name). He gives a big thumbs-up to anything having to do with Mexico. I wonder if he realizes how many of us he has lost because of this.

BTTT!

Tom Tancredo For President!

He's not Bill Clinton!

He's not a castrated Bill Clinton Clone, either!

He's a man that will defend this Nation's sovereignty!

Janet, I enjoy reading all your posts, share your views, and am as enraged as you. Take care of yourself out there in Mexifornia. I have family out there, too, who have lived there for generations and cannot even recognize it anymore, thanks to illegal aliens, out-of-control legal immigration, and our enabling corrupt leaders. Looks like they are going to pull up stakes and head for Nevada or Utah. More white flight and more taxpayers heading for exodus. It is a shame.

Here in the Northeast, this invasion is have a greater impact every day. My supermarket in NJ now dedicates a full dairy case to imported Mexican products (and we are not talking about Tex-Mex or American-made.) It is easy to see who they are catering to, even if a lot of these interlopers are paying with food stamps. The commuter trains to and from New York are also becoming increasingly annoying after rush hour, due to the illegal Mexicans. They are obnoxious, refuse to be quiet, put their feet up and hog all the seats, and show total disrespect to us gringos (and since 9/11 all mass transit in NY has become a nightmare to begin with.) There is just no where to run. May your guardian angel keep you safe...and if you don't have a gun, go through the red tape to get one. I did.

Whew, wait'll the FReepers with their 'force multiplier' equations get ahold of Col. Ben Anderson.

Will he ever be sorry he mentioned militarizing the borders until the Border Patrol can come up to speed.

Imagine suggesting the Army Corps of Engineers actually build fences along the borders? Like he has a degree in engineering or something.

How could a Col. with only 30 years of military service and that's only been awarded the Silver Star twice along with a few lbs of other decorations believe he knows more than they do about securring our borders?

>sarcasm<

If our elite believes in the nonsense of the borderless world there will be a day when an outside force will take power over what was once the USA. Both major political parties are at the mercy of the racial/ethnic interest group extortionists and there will be the day when DC is just the dibursement office for loot headed offshore.

Thanks for your kind words. Not everyone on FR likes what I post about illegal immigration, but it's always the truth. We're lifetime Californians, my husband and two of our three sons have jobs in L.A. harbor, so we can't really make a mass move anywhere, this is our home.

We realize that it won't be too long before the "takers" outnumber the "givers" here, and it's already happening. The changes here in California in the past ten years alone are so sad. The laws against illegal immigration are not enforced. Schools are overflowing, and now we must build new ones to accommodate the illegals. Medical facilities are becoming bankrupt because of being forced to give free care to the ininsured illegals, and now the homeowners will have to "bail them out" by increased taxes. They work for cash, and with false documents they receive welfare and food stamps. They don't speak English, and it's rare to see a young Mexican woman who isn't pregnant and with three children in tow. They drive (badly) without insurance. Gangs of Mexican men gather on street corners everywhere, throwing their trash wherever they stand. They're bold, and have a sense of entitlement because they think we're stupid.

Writing to the officials here doesn't do any good. I got a letter back from one of them, thanking me for my letter and stating that he regretted that he disagreed with me. My letter outlined the fact that millions of illegal aliens were receiving welfare benefits (and everything else) because they had false documents.

Soon our freeways will be filled with truck drivers from Mexico (thanks to NAFTA). Will they be able to read the signs? Will they have American insurance? Will they be able to navigate California freeways without posing danger to us? Probably not. Will the trucks contain drugs and more illegal aliens? Probably.

Tom Tancredo is practically standing alone in Washington trying to stop this invasion of millions while George Bush puts his stamp of approval on anything that will open the borders even further.

About the only thing any of us can do about it is to keep writing to those who "represent" us and complain, complain, complain. A good source is www.numbers.usa, who provides free fax services with pre-written faxes to many of those in Washington. The faxes include the legislation coming up for votes. This is a chance to let those who will be voting know how we feel.

If a U.S Border Patrol Agent and a U.S. Park Service Ranger can be murdered with such a muted uproar – what message has been sent to the illegal alien smugglers and drug traffickers and to the Mexican government? And what measure of safety does any lone rancher or property owner feel?- Ben L. Anderson Jr., Col US Army Retired

Thanks for the ping madfly. Great article, Excellent thread commentary one-all. I thought Ben Anderson really hit the bulls eye here.

There is a conspiracy of silence on the part of our elected officials as millions of Mexican Nationals systematically undermine and destroy America's sovereignty, commit crimes against our people, take the jobs of struggling Americans, spit on our laws and bleed the taxpayers of this nation white. As far as I'm concerned, our leaders, by their silence and steadfast refusal to do anything but encourage MORE illegal immigration, are thoroughly complicit in High Treason.

It is just mind boggling that out of some 500+ elected representatives in Congress, Tom Tancredo is the ONLY ONE that has the GUTS to regularly speak out about the ongoing immigration crisis that is destroying this nation. The ONLY ONE!

For the sake of our great country and it’s future as ONE NATION, Tom Tancredo has to run for president and WIN. The time for fundamental change on this front is quickly running out. There is no other alternative the way I see it. Bush has proven over and over again that he will only make this crisis worse.

BTTT. Well Said Janet. When are the Sheeple going to wake up and force our elected officals to address this crisis? When the problem is in our own backyard? By that time it will be too late.

I am thoroughly disgusted with Bush as well. He is Bill Clinton neutered.

heh heh heh. That describes Bush well.

Whenever I hear his voice on FOX, I also reach for the remote. When I heard him say the other day with a straight face, "My job is to protect America", I felt like I was going to heave.

I had a similar reaction to that comment also. If Bush had an iota of concern for America's security he would have ordered the military on the border and halted all immigration from terrorist harboring nations immediately after 9/11. On domestic issues it's like Clinton never left.

Hot August Night, you along with Taxed2death echo my sentiments exactly. When I hear the media, and Bush, it's gotten so that I do not believe one word they say. I think they tell us only what they want us to hear, and in many cases it is outright lies. The bad stuff is hushed up.

Just last week Ft. Huachuca reports that nearly 90 illegal aliens were apprehended on the military reservation. Some were apprehended walking in the housing areas of the senior officers. Ft. Huachuca is the U.S. Army’s Intelligence Center. Over 180 have been apprehended on the post from Oct thru December.

Very disturbing, considering the nature of work that occurs there.
