Thanks! If I had girls, this is how they would be (the Woman in Uniform, mind you). In any event, I think I will again show my sons why we have to do what we do. (and by we, I don't mean me, I mean our awesome military)(but I do mean we as Americans)

Anyway, thanks for the pick-me-up!

Whoa! Check-out "Bomber Babe"! I'll bet she turns some heads!

This must sound crazy, but I would love to go to Afghanistan-- maybe help set-up a school. But I suppose it's still too dangerous.

Fabulous post, Dio. But you have us spoiled!

God Bless Our Troops.

Your threads are a blast of fresh air and freedom. Makes me even prouder to be an American. Makes me happy for the liberated women, or whomever. We are awesome! Our military is to be respected and cheered.

This young woman looks like someone we traveled with last fall. She said she had spent 22 hours coming home on leave from Bagram. She was tired; trying to get a nap on the plane; and there was a loud passenger in the rear. After putting up with it for about 30 minutes, she said if he didn't shut up, she would shut him up! None of us doubted she could do it too. BTW, the flight attendant got the guy to simmer down (fortunately for him is my guess).

Now that's a real reason to celebrate International Women's Day, unlike Code Pink and other so-called feminists we have here. They say nothing about what we've done for the Afghani women, 'cause they're too busy protesting the war. Luckily, we have your posts to tell the truth---keep 'em coming!
