Peace-loving protesters were reported to have gotten on the Orange line of the Metro at Eastern Market station headed to the Rosslyn station. I suppose this is a response to their attempts to disrupt traffic at the nearby Key Bridge. Hopefully the police will clear them out soon and lock them up if they break the law.

Fond memories of that area....My honeymoon night was spent at the Key Bridge Marriot.....
Georgetown on one side of the bridge and Arlinton VA. on the other....CIA Langely is just a short trip on the VA side on the GW Parkway....

Looks like hundreds of police on the scene. If it is those idiot "peace" protestors blocking traffic I hope those hundreds of police have batons in hand.
To: muawiyah
Thank you. My guess is the protestors are at it again. Hundreds went to Rummy's house in NW yesterday - and stopped. Local Channel 5 (FOX) is reporting something about protestors now.
To: muawiyah
The government should up the charges on this type of protesting to a felony. The number of protestors would drop dramatically if this scum new that by protesting they were pretty much relegating themselves to being unemployed. Employers won't hire felons who have a propensity to disrupt the workplace.

Don't we have crowd control water hoses anymore?
How about job applications? Just have a low-flying police chopper drop job applications on the crowd. They'll scatter like crazy.

Protestors on bicycles blocking bridge...

Just run 'em over, and make their families liable for the damage to the car.

I got an email from one of my co-workers - he has a blackberry. They are trapped on the Orange Line train from Vienna into DC because of the protestors.

Can we borrow that bulldozer and the Israeli driver? That would solve the problem in a matter acceptable to me.
