Great article!

I've been to Cuba, and the contrast between the Camellos and the air conditioned tourist busses, which are purchased from Western countries for big bucks, is positively shameful.

Curiously enough, I never noticed anyone in a tour bus smile.

I avoided the tour busses, mingled with the Cuban people, and smiled ... a lot.

That aside, the point this article makes is absolutely spot on and the facts of life under a dictatorship should be better known.

I checked out an anti-war demonstration last night, and the demonstrators looked liked they were about ready to fight ... against Bush. it was eerie and scary, and I have video to prove it.

The photo of the camel bus appears to be small in size. They are suppose to be able to stuff 300 folks into these death traps, and this one does not appear to be of that capacity.
