TIME HAS COME TODAY!

Sure hope this means mucho fireworks. This will mean daytime vulnerability and shame for Saddam and company. Leading to more surrender and ignoring Saddam's commands from his fuhrerbunker where he's tending to his wounds. Out of site and out of mind.

I saw this on the news a few minutes ago. I don't think that information like this should be broadcast in real-time. I'm disgusted that the BBC would do this.

Whoever is on the receiving end of their ordinance is in *big* trouble. What fantastic aircraft.

hehehe... Saddam's troops are going to receive their first real taste of "shock and awe" soon. Its one experience they'll remember forever. A B-52 bombing is like nothing on this earth.

Yep, I've just watched lots of them take off, some with ALCM's on pylons, some without.

I believe the B52s were placed RAF Fairford for the psychops aspects--the Airforce knowing full well the activities would be broadcast worldwide!!

>>Definitely "daytime vulnerable" now.

Could easily be after dark by the time the BUFF's get to their targets. It's around 13:30 local time, and I think sunset is around 18:15 or thereabouts, so less than 5 hours from now until sunset. I think the cruising time is easily that.

yep, someone is going to get a load...the 8th one is just after taking off

they rekon the full 14 will be off...if i was an iraqi soldier here is the steps

1. crap pants
2. drop weapon
3. start running

it takes about 5 hrs to iraq...so you MAY make it out of th bomb zone...

on a seperate point -- maybe they are off to afghanistan
