Amen to that. Boeing sure builds 'em good don't they. When you care to send only the best, send a Boeing product.
The beginning of the end is on. Resistance is futile.

I suspect that the Brits pulled in various US services under their command as needed for specific attacks. Probably so. Also, I don't think we'd allow anybody but the Brits to command our troops.

In theory I should say anyway, I think we all know that Patton wasn't very keen on stepping aside for IKE.

I hope Saddam is still alive (though in pain) to hear what's happening overhead.

MOAB to be dropped?! Oh boy...We don't know if it's just a threat or not. Fox News: "Nebuchaandezzer and Hammarabi Divisons are the ones we want to see surrender. If they do, Baghdad's wide open. Reporting some resistance in Basra. The believe is that Saddam Hussein was wounded on Wednesday night. This is in fact A day. Pentagon briefing in one hour." We'll see...
Fox says the launch of awe and fear is real.
Not good, Fox says that surrenders are much less than hoped so far, this may take a while.

All those virgins.. just imagine how bad that sex will suck. Plus many older virgins are so for a good reason - example: unattractive.
Not that there aren't some attractive virgins out there.. but not enough for these hopeful Iraqi men.

the Iraqis have no choice but to surrender No doubt Iraqis are valiant soldiers and warriors. Unfortunately it is necessary to demonstrate overwhelming force. The enemy warriors will not offer to surrender to mere words, nor are they expected to do so. When they have nothing left with which to fight, then they may surrender honorably.

yes, we've trained with the Brits..put never an integrated command at this scale..we put a whole US Marine division under British command...that's really unusual..and operationally can present problems....I wasn't criticizing or complianing, just inquiring....

I have no desire to see the Iraqis waste their valour on a failed regime, nor to serve the vanity of Saddam Hussein. The fact must be driven home, brutally, that Saddam's regime is finished.
