good point ! tom brokaw really needs to interview this person on the air, maybe it will put some sense into the minds of senseless people.

Forming an opinion takes alot of work. Listening to propaganda and reacting is easy, just ask the German citizens who were alive in the 40's.Exactly so. And work takes so much time - time they'd much rather spend in loving self regard. Time to spend adoring their own moral piety. It's just not right to ask these people to learn anything about reality when there's such important work to be done.

Through a couple of conversations this week, it is apparent to me that the anti-war crowd is absolutely clueless - just like these young fools.

This reads so well it's hard to believe it's for real. It's like propaganda!
I really wish this guy would go on the interview circuit.
To: MadIvan
Insightful, as always!
This is REAL news!

This really should be posted at Democratic Underground.
But that will be the last place it shows up.

Some people just have to learn the hard way, but at least this guy is one hell of alot more intelligent than Sean Penn.

All these idealistic establishment-haters didn't even try.The leftists peaceniks are all drunk on freedom. Freedom comes so cheap to them it is a commodity to be wasted and wallowed in--not treasured and safeguarded.
The Iraqi taxi driver lives in a nation as bereft of freedom as the Sahara is of water. So he strains to taste the smallest drop vicariously through radio programs from the west.

It hadn't occurred to anyone that the Iraqis might actually be pro-warGee, this guy just doubled his brain cells to two

What world do these naive creeps live in? It's almost eerie to hear this guy describe his state of ignorance.
