[history]
March 23, 2003 -- A disgruntled U.S. soldier from the 101st Airborne Division allegedly launched a grenade attack against a command tent at his base in northern Kuwait - killing one and injuring as many 15 - in what appeared to be an attempt to kill the base commander, a Pentagon official told The Post.

He was "disgruntled."
Oh, and by the way, he was Muslim, but that has nothing to do with anything so I don't even know why I just mentioned it and I probably shouldn't ever mention it again.

It is surreal that this is not mentioned consistently.

It makes it very difficult now for those muslim soldiers who are true American patriots.

Max Blumenfeld, a spokesman for the Army V Corps, said a motive for the strike was "most likely resentment," but refused to elaborate.
BS!
He was a islam terrorist!

Right now I think that the assignment for muslims in our military should be limited to cleaning the latrines. No duties should allow them near weapons, food prep or command facilities. IMHO.

Well I guess we're trying to halt the incredible backlash against Muslims in America that were told is occurring though nobody has any evidence of it (aside from the three name-calling incidents and unconfirmed reports of a half dozen dirty looks.)

Da** right! Put that traitor up against the nearest wall and sent him to hell so he can be with allah!
We are at war and a filthy crime like this should not be tolerated in the face of the enemy.

If there is solid proof and eyewitnesses against him, he should be tied to a stake, blindfolded and shot. It's important to keep discipline.
He was 'dissed' by his commander, written up for insubordination. Unfortunately, modern youth are told they should have great self-esteem, even when they have no personal accomplishments to base it on. They attack and even kill others who don't appreciate the greatness of their over-inflated egos.
Still, this man should be shot to death right there in that camp.

Katy Colic just reported on the story but never mentioned that he was a Muslim.

From the Uniform Code of Military Justice:
Art. 106a ESPIONAGE
(c) A sentence of death may be adjudged by a court-martial for an offense under this section (article) only if the members unanimously find, beyond a reasonable doubt, one or more of the following aggravating factors:
(1) The accused has been convicted of another offense involving espionage or treason for which either a sentence of death or imprisonment for life was authorized by statute.
In other words one Marlboro, one blindfold.

It makes it very difficult for those muslim soldiers who are true American patriots.......With the teachings of the Koran regarding Jews and infidels, I seriously question whether or not any American Muslims can be patriotic. The vast majority of them may never undertake offensive or terrorist actions against us, but also will never renounce or dispute their Koran. They can't have it both ways.......they either agree with the Koran or not.

One official told The Post the rogue GI, an engineer, was upset with the commander who was the intended target. British Sky News reporter Stuart Ramsay, who is with the 101st at the base, said the soldier is Muslim and was assigned to guard the base. No offense but this is BS imo
Its highly unlikely that this soldier attacked that brigade commander and his staff and support in three tents...its also unlikely he acted alone
Ramsey was spinning this story from the get go...even Shep Smith told him that he didnt believe Ramseys version right to his face as Shep said...Fox was told by the military to believe the embedded reporter
Ramsey was no where near the scene and began to deny and spin reports from two reporters who were on the scene...even Lacy's fresh reports are not admitted in this article..
This soldier was attached to the 101 if he were disgruntled and this was an isolated "fragging" incident he would have gone after his perceived antagonist ..which would have been one of his superiors an NCO or Company Commander...
This attack was due to muslim beliefs..(Lacey himself said this last night although his words have now been changed..) As did the embed fox reporter..
The embed and Lacy both stated there were other attackers... For this guy to pull the pins on three frags throw them into three tents and then wait to ambush anyone who came out alone....its a real stretch to believe he acted alone
I was a witness to fragging attempt in Vietnam and was arround many of these so called disgruntled types...and their rhetoric about who the "real" enemy was...
This was an attack by a muslim against his enemy...it was a decaptitation strike against the Brigade Commander his TOC and his ranking subordinates...the kind of debilitating strike against the head of the 101st Brigade..
This spin of the disgruntled soldier is to keep the troops from the kind of riots experineced in Vietnam...the types convienently erased from the history books..
The muslim Chaplains go to the middle east immans to correctly interpret their faith...what are they passing along to their charges..
We need to pack up these muslim imman chaplains and their charges and put them on the next bus home...
Protecting diversity and affirmative action and their PC social programs is foolish in peace let alone war imo
The press covering for muslims is disgusting...as is Ramsey...his overt attempt to distort facts was obvious to anyone watcthing live as the events unfolded...even Shep Smith caught Ramseys attempt at lying and deflected it...yet in the end his spin will be the verison that sticks...
If truth is the first casualty of war...it's the fourth estate that inflicted the wound....& shame on them..
To: kattracks
According to the latest on the news, He fragged most of the command staff of the 1st Brigade of 101st. Apparently, he was left back from going in for being insubordinate.
Yup. That's a capital crime.
To: Salvation
They dont mention that he was muslim just as they didnt mention one of the D.C.snipers were either. However , they did go out of theior way to mention he was Ex-military. I guess they will assume the same with this traitor..."It was because hes military, not muslim"
