I don't understand why you people are making a big deal about this, Hans told me personally this is where he was going to look next if he could just stay another day. Infact, he said he was going there for wine and cheese with Jock.

Do you have a better link at SMH? I'm not finding this story?

Corporal Steven Airzee said: "The initial sight was a shock. We were trying to figure out what they were. You have to wonder whether the weapons inspectors have been there because they looked pretty big."Well, if it was considered a "Military Base", of course the inspectors did not go there. They were not allowed under the UN inspections protocol to check out any military sites.

If this story is true and that the Israel newspaper story is correct about the WMD, all of the coalition of the appeasers are going to look like fools. But, the one who is going to look the most foolish is Scott Ritter. He must be sh....g a brick. Not only will his defense of Iraq will be discredited, but the young children that Sadaam hooked him up with during his inspection days will come out.

I haven't read all of this thread but am frustrated by the obvious question...
Why isn't video of this site and every other similar site televised worldwide
as soon as it is found?
Are our leaders really that clueless?
We need to silence the sandmaggot apologists ASAP!

Hopefully they left the invoices behind as well.

I wonder how much it cost Saddam \ France \Russia to make their UN boy Blix look the other way?

Tom Daschle is deeply saddened that the coalition forces have taken it upon themselves to violate Iraqi soveregnty and steal their (non-existent) weapons of mass destruction.

Thanks for article. It took me awhile to figure out what SMH was, though. It looks like they are getting information a lot faster than we are.

You changed the title, which did not contain the word "banned," so it is an open question as to whether these weapons come under the category of banned WMD.

Kinda magnifies what a silly exercise in futility it was playing the inspections game with Saddam doesn't it?
