The news on KOGO is saying there were at least 3000 people. My daughter, my son and I were on the sidewalk for a while waving our flags. Then we kept cirlcing around in the van while waving our flags and playing Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" loud and clear. People started singing along with us. We finally left after 2 and half hours. Its still going on now as of 3:30pm PST. Some people have been there for over 4 hours. WHAT A GREAT COUNTRY. GOD BLESS THE USA AND OUR BRAVE TROOPS!

A Navy Vet of VetsCoR has been busting his hump collecting photos of all the Rally for America events. We plan to put together a CD full and make them available to the troops.

In Oregon if the press said there was 3,000 conservatives, than there was really 9,000. They were reporting 40,000 at an anti-war protest this month only to have it confirmed later that there was only 14,000 liberals.

The ABC radio network mentioned this rally on their broadcast. They referred to "thousands" rallying for support of the troops in San Diego. I wonder if Peter Jennings will have anything to say about it on ABC TV.

Great News, I remember a few weeks back when the Marines were leaving Miramar , and the peace hippie/communists and Muslims lining the road jeered them, they will be happy to see the support shown today.

We are so glad you're doing this. Since the MEDIA won't tell the troops about all the SUPPORT.. it seems we are left to.

We have adopted 10 soldiers.. along with our care packages we are going to try to copy and add the FR pics. Plus our own of course!!
