The left has already started setting up the scenario that any evidence is fake. NPR has been heavy on the bogus nuke evidence story, and I've heard this talking point from other lefties. Be prepared for the Arabs, the French, and the looney left to disbelieve any evidence found.
To: ewing
Good move. Now we can't be accused of planting evidence.

How about the French and German media. We of course will wear chemical protective gear. The French and German reporters will not.
Just for giggles.

US forces sealed off 36 bunkers earmarked as potential sites of weapons of mass destruction at an Iraqi air base outside of An Nasiriyah, military police said. The treasure chest of Saddam goodies we've been looking for....?

Some of the bunkers, which were to be opened later with news media present, had been looted. This makes no sense. If they are to be opened later with the media present, how do they know they were looted? What am I missing here?

Gawd. I can write better than this article.
Is it saying the bunkers were looted before or after being sealed? Geez.

Some of the bunkers which were to be opened later with media present, had been looted. The media is talking about the possibility of a chemical weapons attack once we cross a "red line" near Baghdad. I wonder if we are also focused on where such an attack might take place. In other words, such an attack could literally happen anywhere in Iraq -- not just Baghdad.

They have found missles loaded with WMD payload. I heard this from someone who is about to be disarming them.

The bunkers are probably full of CNN reporter "doubles" and a deflated lifesize Helen Thomas doll.
