WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Iraq has executed some prisoners of war in what the Pentagon's No. 2 general described Wednesday as one of many "disgusting" war crimes committed by forces loyal to Saddam Hussein.
"They have executed prisoners of war," said Gen. Peter Pace, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live."

Imagine how Iraqis who have lived with this for 20 plus years feel. I read in the news that Iraqi thugs-in-charge were beheading women on public streets. Some for being prostitutes and I can't remember what the other charge was for but it was minor.

We don't need angry military forces. We need cool headed military who are no longer under the stringent orders of no colleteral damage, methinks.

And Helen Thomas keeps asking Ari at the news conferences about our "horrid/criminal" treatment of the prisoners at Club Gitmo! I haven't noticed her outrage over this! Truly shows what evil people the leftist/socialist/islamofasist/scumsucking bastards we have in our country.....let them all go to Iraq and suck up to Saddam. Bastards all of them!!!!
I'm so angry about the treatment of our POW's that it's a good thing I'm too old to enlist - I want to go over there and blast the $hit out of those scumbags! Have to stop typing now or I'll get banned if I really said what I wanted to.

No wonder the French didn't want to get involved. With Iraq surrender means nothing.
Our troops now know that you shoot first.

These Barbarians are subhuman! So are those who support them: (The French, Russians, Mexico, Helen Thomas, McDermott, Murray, et al.)

No prisoners! The world will be a better place without jihadist scum in it!
To: whadizit
They want us to get angry. We have to be calm but get more resolute.

I agree.
Our troops are as well-disciplined as it gets.
Their cold fury will find its expression in much more productive ways than in sinking to the level of the Iraqi barbarians.
In the end, our mercy and humanity will win the hearts of the Iraqi people--at least the ones we care about. The others will be dead.

Well, it would be a good thing if *some* of us in this country were angry, angry at Iraq instead of angry at the US. I think these pictures may backfire in terms of Saddam's greatest hope - "American public opinion."
Interesting that many Russian sites think that critical to Saddam's success will be the US "anti-war movement" I really think that the treatment of POWs could wipe out that "movement." It was ever more dumb inertia than anything active, anyway, such dull minds can be swayed and hopefully they can sway back.
Those are the people that should be angry, and angry at Saddam for once. Those who are prosecuting the war are not about to lose their resolve.

Agreed, fully. Our military is professional. With that said though, some must pay. Not in terms of War Crimes tribunals, but with their lives. I trust our military folk to make that decision. Their not drunk on power, their still human.

A Message for the Iraqis
"Yeah, I'm bleeding
But I'm still upright
But you'll be dead
By tomorrow night
The worst mistake
You ever made
Was to kill our guys
In such evil ways
Now we're pissed
Gonna kick your ass
And you can't stop us
It'll be a blast"

Imagine how Iraqis who have lived with this for 20 plus years feel.Probably a lot like the Germans under the Nazis. They comply partly out of fear but Saddam also makes them feel some sort of Arab pride and nationalism.

above and beyond the fact that they were shot in the forehead, you can tell they were contact wounds from the skin

The towel-heads responsible for the murder and mistreatment of our soldiers will probably not make it alive to trial. You may be right, but if they do, I was wondering if we are indeed planning to have war crimes trials, before they feel the hot lead of M-16 rounds?
