Florez called on the attorney general Wednesday to investigate......the role of the former director of e-government, Arun Baheti, and Vin Patel, a technology specialist, whom he accused of conflicts of interest. Baheti and Patel were largely behind the project that contracted with, among others, BroadVision in Redwood City, which employed Patel's brother, and Verity in Sunnyvale, which employed Baheti's brother-in-law. {{{Gasp.}}} Nepotism. Under graydavis? Watta surprise (/sarcasm off).
Crooked politician$ get plenty; taxpayers' get zilch.
