Assemblyman Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) said he had chosen Sparks for her work as the head of the Alice B. Toklas Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Democratic Club and on the city's human rights commission.

We have a transgendered person at work. The poor bastard worked for years as a male, "Bill" and then changed to the other team, as "Billie". During the change over, while he was just taking the female hormones, 'his' therapist told 'him' to start doing women things, like squatting to pee, etc. Our natural born females raised pluperfect hell over sharing the can with a future 'sister'.

After Billie got back from his/her little trip to Dr. Johnson Cleaver, 'she' promptly declared herself a lesbian, and joined the Wiccan faith. Bumper sticker on her car now reads "pagan lesbian"...
