Isn't the 'Sir Galahad' the ship that was bringing in humanitarian supplies? I guess they succeeded in clearing the channel of the mines.
Terrific news!

Sir Galahad is a Royal Fleet Auxiliary, a resuply vessel used in this deployment to deliver relief supplies.

That is why it was such a nice picture to see.

IIRC, HMS Galahad was attacked during Falklands was she not? Glad to see the old girl still has some life in her.

It was RFA Sir Galahad and it was lost along with its sister ship RFA Sir Tristram at Fitzroy Cove, Falklands

Both Sir Galahad and Sir Tristram are namesakes of the ones that were lost.

Honours, Falklands, RFA Sir Galahad Capt P J G Roberts RFA, co RFA Sir Galahad - Distinguished Service Order Second Eng Offr P A Henry RFA, RFA Sir Galahad - George Medal - Posthumous Chief Eng Offr C K A Adams RFA, RFA Sir Galahad - Queen's Gallantry Medal Note that RFAs are not White Ensign ships. Sir Galahad is flying the Blue Ensign.
