Pick a date. There have been articles that say April, so it will flow when it will flow.

SO! There is the problem, that last bit, "Russian equipment". The Ruskies are hallucinating if they think they will be coming back to service their crappy equipment any time soon. That was why the guy thought it would take forever, he assumed the Russians would be doing it.

I wonder if US oil firms will take this as an opportunity to spike up prices? Also, if 12 years ago, the US had invested heavily in Russian oil and ports, the whole of the geopolitical landscape would be radically different now.

What has NOT been widely disseminated is that the UN is
already sitting on $8 Billion in Iraq-owned oil money from the Oil for Food program(according to CNNfn.
The UN also gets a 2.2% administrative fee on ALL oil sales, plus other expenses for controlling the program.
In 2000, Iraq sold approx $17.8 Billion in oil and the UN pocketed more than $520 MM in fees. Many British and US staffers have been complaining that this has created a financial conflict of interest on the part of the UN - the UN has become addicted to the Iraqi cash.
