I've tried watching Maher twice. Unlike Dennis Miller, a far better and more intelligent host, Maher has clearly stacked his audience with far left wing people. Even Larry Miller hardly says a thing. When Dennis Miller was on a few weeks back, the audience booed him because he agreed with the war

There were 2 yippies in front of us who got really pissed when we booed Michael Moore(even though we were told explicitly not to by the studio people) and when we cheered Maher's comment about getting over the 2000 election. But when my roommate and I discussed policy issues dealing with the war it went right over their heads. It was kind of fun to sit in obvious enemy territory and let my feelings be known.

Maher has clearly stacked his audience with far left wing people. He doesnt have to. Lefties are the only people who want to see his show, because everyone knows he is not really a Libertarian he is a Socialist.
