RE #15
Actually, a nice-looking psycho ward would be a horrible place to these ex-Jihadis. They would never think that they are mentally-ill and should be treated. They believe that they are honorable and dedicated God' servants. Now if they have to endure daily sessions with psycho-therapists, especially female ones, looking worried and treating them like troubled children, that will surely drive them even harder to commit suicide.

With any luck, this will start a new fad among the jihadists.
"Suicide in private for Allah"
If it catches on worldwide, there may actually be rational hope for world peace.
Has anyone informed the Islamic clerics's of the holy virtues inherent in poisoned Koolaid?

They should take the boys out for a day at the beach. That would cheer them up.

New Psychiatric Wing
Well I always thought these radicals were nuts, so they proved it...

We are stopping them from killing themselves because we are a good and just people...
Or because what is more terrible, a relatively short struggle with the rope or decade after decade of mindless boredom and solitary confinement.
We give those prisoners nothing. Not entertainment, not development, not hope.
There are those that call it "torture" and perhaps they are right.
Why let them end it all if we can _possibly_ extend their lives?
I hope when they are old and gray, we pay for heart bypass operations, just so that those m
rs can wake up in the recovery room and groan to themselves "Allah, please, give me release!"

Sorry, you can't go barefoot on the Gitmo beaches. The coral will cut your feet up. And the sea urchins are worse.

The problem with these suicide attempts is that none of them have succeeded. Of course it's just a way for them to get attention. If they had any inclination to really do themselves in, they'd make sure they succeeded. I see it all the time in the prison system. These mutts are actually gutless wonders when it comes to committing suicide. They make sure they only attempt it when they know they'll be found immediately. I don't know what the big hubbub is anyway. Weren't these the guys who wanted to commit suicide so they could meet their 72 virgins. I say let them fulfill their wish. Accomodate them.

Suicide only has a value when they can take the infidels with them . Anything short of that goal being accomplished is simple marketing .
Looks more like they enjoy a break from the sun while looking for an opportunity laying in a room with clean sheets .

Suicide only has a value when they can take the infidels with them. I don't know, it looks like the standard has lowered. The corpse of an idiot would-be suicide bomber was just received in Beirut as a hero, even though he'd not managed to murder anyone but himself. Now that's my kind of terrorist.

In these times of budget cuts, instead of opening a psychiatric wing, why don't they just pass out 12 foot long strands of rope. Of course after prisoners have been interrogated and deemed uninformed and useless for Al Quaeda information? Just a economically responsible thought.
