Seems like I heard something about the guy who started Bose (or maybe it was the guy who invented the technology) went to the Naval Academy.

He is a graduate of MIT and at times teaches there.

Amar Bose was a professor at MIT. I took my Introductory Network Theory class from him in 1968 (using a text he wrote), and he was an excellent teacher.

I doubt that he still teaches classes, given that he's now quite old and has a net worth of half a billion dollars.

According to MIT, he was still teaching when they published this page http://web.mit.edu/invent/iow/bose.html in 1999 and he was 68 at the time. He does have an interesting bio.
