What IS it with NJ? I can stand on my roof and see it across the Delaware, and it may as well be another country.

The crowd whooped and cheered when Sliwa bedecked the hood ornament of the mayor's Lincoln with a big yellow bow.

I missed out on that. Stayed behind to pack up the PA system I brought along. Turns out that the systems that was to have been there didn't show.

Was a great day. I taped the speeches directly from the PA, so they'll be as good as one could get. Curtis has his and perhaps he can use some of it Monday on the show.

Only got a few photos. My battery was low, so my camera was balky.

When I first read of this, I was outraged that the people of this town took this kind of tyranny sitting down. 100 people out of 522 is an UPRISING!.

My fiance lives in a small South Carolina town of about 470 people. There are yellow ribbons everywhere. Even on property that belongs to the people.

Mayor Doo Doo Head forgets that "government property" is also the people's property. After 22 years in office, I guess he's forgotten that he doesn't own the government...the people do. That is too dang long for anyone to be in control. I hope the people help him find another job next election.

He then added, "We do not allow anything on government property without permission from the governing body."

Jerk. Government property is our property and the governing body is us!
