The current Russian government is not to be trusted and many Americans concur with that assessment. +++

Ok Beck. You may not trust russian goverment. Trust is to be earned.

But anyway consider. The arms is second export merchandise of Russia. It supports the numbers of high tech scientists who may sell thier expertice anywhere else. But they no now.
Russia don't sell WMD and matherials for it. Only arms. And only for hard currencies.

You don't have hard currencies you go away. That is why China and Iran the russian clients now. They both have huge amount of US dollars.

Russia is simply gun manufactorer. Like any of same company in US. She provides means for second amendment world wide.
And earn profit in process.
That is it.

The biggest usual coopout there is. It was elected by the majority of the Russian population...so which Russians do you love? The Yeltsin crowd that robbed from its own and sold its soul to Western dollars? You, by the way, conveniently ignore that none of the sales have been tied to Putin's government and the only governments involved were Ukraine and Syria....but we won't let facts stand in the way.

You forgot the other taglines for this ad:

AK-47's! Never fired, only dropped once!

And a free cleaning cloth to use with your Oxyclean, that conveniently doubles as a surrender flag, made in France.

We put out most of them in the first 10 days with the help of the Kuwaiti wildcatters. But God forbid everyone follows the "mainstream" media for all their information. That's like putting on all of our coinage "In CNN we trust". What an absurdity.

Russia is not just attempting to provide the "second amendmente worldwide". Iran is a terrorist nation which has supported efforts everywhere to usurp American interests and kill American citizens. Russia is selling, as usual, to our enemies. The accountants will tell the story.

First off, Yeltsin was a drunk the same as we had an adulterer. 9-11 changed everything and Russia, like much of the world has not grasped that simple fact. Yeltsin is a former KGB thug and I do not trust anyone who was part of that organization, ever.

"You, by the way, conveniently ignore that none of the sales have been tied to Putin's government and the only governments involved were Ukraine and Syria."

You forgot to end that sentence correctly with the simple three letter word "yet". I hope you are willing to come back and back up all your statements when the CIA, DIA, and FBI accounting teams finish their work in 4 weeks. Russia and France will pay a huge price politically. But don't let the "facts" get in your way. I'm sure you'll use whatever excuse Baghdad Bob creates to cover and protect the actions of your nation.

All right. Why then US trade with Iran? Why US provide Iran with dollars?

US stop that. They run out of US dollars. They won't buy russian arms. Without US dollars none in Russia sell them even 1 catridge.

We don't trade with Iran. We only sell food, no computers, no explosives, no military weapons, no nuclear reactors like Russia has, just harmless goods. The trade is quite limited due to the political situation and has been since the Carter administration. The dollars they are using are the petrodollars pirmarily supplied by the cowards in France and Germany.

Yestsin is former soviet beaurocrat. He never was in KGB. You confuse him with someone else.
He is known drunkard yes.

But you didn't answer the question. Why United States continue provide China and Iran with US dollars?
Why US don't stop it if US want to stop thier buying of russian arms?

China produces most of their own arms. The trade they have with the Russians basically goes back to the old days of arms trading.

Okey I understand it. But how about China then?
Commie state. Most of them.
And the main US trading partner in same time.

Something wrong in it?

This could actually be a huge boost for Russian military sales. Instead of buying ONE tank or a handful of RPG's, their customers now know to buy LOTS of extras.

Putin was intellegence officer.
He wasn't KGB thug either.
The KGB thugs was the members of Fifth Directorate the Political Police. They did all the repressions in USSR.

Putin belonged to First Directorate The Intellegence. The analog of American CIA. If members of CIA are thugs then Putin is too.

God is watching and their day will come before Him.

Idiot. An impotent Russian hoping God will pick up where his country failed so miserably. I think God may still have an issue with the mass killings the Russian people countenanced for 70 years.

The Iraqis had it all: Migs, Scuds, AK-47s, T-tanks. And they got their asses handed to them. Not surprising. The Afghanis manhandled the Russians, who were using the same crap. But I guess with that juggernaut economy, the really good Russian military stuff is just around the corner.

I hope none of that military aid given to Saddam, who gladly welcomes Islamic terrorists into his terrorist training camps, found its way into the hands of Chechens. Then again, the Chechens are probably too smart to use it, if offered.

China is a mistake that Russia and the U.S. will end up paying for dearly if we do not work as a tripartite group to dismantle North Korea. That's the error that was started with Bush I, made worse with Clinton, and continued with Bush II. I will not apologize nor defend our nation's trade with China. That error could result in the first nuclear exchange in world history.

About that reactor. It is energy reactor. Russia won the terder to build it. The rivals was french and some american firms too.
If Russia would refuse then they would pick up that contract. So all profit will go elsewhere. It isn't fair toward Russia. She needs that profit.
