I have a subscription to Newsweek, but only because I get it for free. (Basically, they spend their money to give it to me, and anything that takes money - and thus power - of out their pockets is fine with me.) And their left-wing bias has truly been jaw-dropping throughout the buildup to this war. Since the war actually started, of course, i've given up on the weeklies, whose lead times are too short to be up-to-date, but not long enough to allow any meaningful "analyses." They've just been piling up on my desk.

I read the Village Voice every week for precisely the reason you note - they call themselves liberal and make no bones about it.
