What an unfortunate "accident."
You @sswipes just keep on asking Rumsfeld those idiotic questions!

I watched the Al-Jazeera cameraman get shot live on TV! Either the cameraman or someone standing behind him was shooting at our forces. You could blatantly see the shells popping in the air...after about ten seconds worth of this...the camera falls down on the ground.

Please post the link to the other thread. The FNC Correspondent in Baghdad reported on Brigette Quinn's show that there was no outgoing fire.
Who was the reporter you guys saw last night?

well... I guess that goes to show... don't stand behind a person shooting at the US Army!
You'd think it was pretty logical.

Technically Saddam is a civilian. So if we kill him we're killing civilians. And if it's like killing civilians it's like bombing Nagasaki. And if it's like bombing Nagasaki it's like 9-11.If he is a civilian then what is that uniform he is wearing?

As it happened Brian Wilson was doing commentary in the background...as the camera fell to the ground he stopped in the middle of his sentence and said...."Ohhhh"

I'm not sure of the reporter's name that I saw. He is not a regular. He had an accent (British maybe?). But he most certainly failed to answer when asked if there was shooting beside him. He quickly exited as though he were carted off or felt unsafe. He made a point of mentioning that his "guide, as they prefer to be called" was "right there" with him.

Ever notice scumbag dictators also promote themselves to very high rans they couldn't achieve in honest military service ?

Are you talking about the footage from atop the Palestine Hotel, or the footage shot by the Al-Jazeera cameraman just before his position got hit with a missle? The latter. I looked at the video again (I've been taping the whole war since it started) and it's obvious that someone was firing a machine gun at the tanks on the bridge from the Al Jazeera camera's position. Not only do you see bits of concrete flying in front of the lens, you can see casings too. That's why the position was bombed shortly afterward.
