Isn't it daytime now in Iraq - meaning the facility would be teeming with reporters?

Don't know whether or laugh or not.
Somehow it seems apropos that our guys are beating the living daylights out of the people who have been blasting slander and libel at us for the past 20 years!
William LaJunesse in Kuwait City now reports:
Latest AP write- 3 buildings destroyed. Rescue workers have recovered two bodies, numbers as high as 14 dead.
"There is no one left to give the commands."
Let's hope they can get a wrap and get some of our guys home.

EVEN more important, (but not worth own thread):
Dixie Chicks To Appear On Letterman Tonight
Lubbock native Natalie Maines and the Dixie Chicks are scheduled to appear tonight on "The Late Show With David Letterman".
The chicks have come under fire for anti-Bush remarks made at a London concert.
You'll have to stay up to see the chicks. Letterman goes on late after the NCAA championship game right here on CBS13.

Of course this must be an accident --- unless Baghdad Bob was there to make another statement, in which case it was a military leadership target.
I still say we were just trying to boost their creadability. They have been saying we bomb civilians all along, so we just made honest reporters of them... (no thats ok, the service is free).

I'm surprised Al Jazeera's not INSIDE the Ministry of Information. They pretty much just offer direct feeds of Baghdad Bob anyway.

Technically Saddam is a civilian. So if we kill him we're killing civilians. And if it's like killing civilians it's like bombing Nagasaki. And if it's like bombing Nagasaki it's like 9-11.
So killing Saddam makes us like bin Laden.

This was a shot across the bow.
Just guessing the "near miss" was intentional.

I doubt Al Jazeera was specifically targeted. They may be using facilities which had been recently used for some other purpose.

HA-HA!!!
To: bonesmccoy
I guess al-Jazeera isn't going to have a part in Iraq's rebuilding after all. Good. The Iraqi people don't need the distraction.
