BAGHDAD FALLS! AMERICA TRIUMPHS!
April 9, 2003: At last! The whining pessimists, peacelovers, naysayers and nitpickers in the the media have again been chastened by the hard facts of reality. Just as Rummy hoped they would, Saddam's much-celebrated Republican Guard defenses have obligingly folded like the back seat of a politically-incorrect SUV. And just as much-maligned Vice-President Dick Cheney predicted they would, crowds of happy Iraqis have gathered in the center of Baghdad to welcome their American liberators.
For a short while, the world is unfolding as it should.....

You are so right, they are peeing their pants. One of them pointed out that "only 30 percent (of the people by the statute) were dancing."

I lurk over there and those people are absolutely crazy. They imagine every event is just closed feed from the CIA. They compare U.S. troops to Nazi ocuupiers and are stunned that we won.
Many seem to be more angry at the fact that the Iraqi's are cheering the Americans than the fact we beat the Iraqi army.
They really are the peace at any price crowd. The bitterness over there is incredible.

"Just heard CNN say the crowd was small for a city of 5 million."Yes, the mood on CNN is considerably less celebratory than it obviously is in Baghdad. Their worst nightmare has come true. You could almost feel sorry for these fools who have served the wretched, decadent, disgusting, mendacious, meretricious, anti-American propaganda machine.
When they report the dancing in the streets in Bagdad, the CNN tone is morbid and lugubrious. Reality has come crashing down on these wretched fools. They are faced with the loathsomeness of the positions they have taken. They are faced with their own stupidity and the evil they have perpetuated by serving as useful idiots. They are to be pitied.
