If it takes a Western-sparked earthquake to bring about change, so be it. The net result will be great news not just for the West, but for Arabs as well. Anyone who doubts it, can just ask the liberated Iraqis who greeted Americans in Baghdad this week.

We all can hope that the above is true. At the same time, even though Moslems are not genetically dumb, their religion preaches to them to resist progress, shun outsiders, and maintain primitive ways of life (such as the secondary status of women). With these precepts to live by, it will be a long road for them to progress.
