Al gave him three or four specific opportunities to condemn Castro but won't do it. He doesn't want to talk about that, just this was. Al points out that he was the one who brought up Central America.

Dustin, you are in a duel of wits and your weapon is unloaded.

Excellent. Al asks Dustin if his group will be protesting the evil things done that were just revealed by CNN. Surprise. Dustin doesn't want to talk about that.

Clarification -- Dustin was stateside during the Gulf War.

He is saying we have not liberated Iraq --- we are occupying Iraq. The reason we are there is to occupy the country and divide the spoils. This administration is motivated by greed and imperialism.

Tell all (or that jackass guest) THIS is why the jerk would not engage on the issue of CUBA and FIDEL CASTRO.

This is from the International A.N.S.W.E.R. alliance member's webpage (directly!):

"The Cuba Advocate believes that the Cuban Revolution of 1959 represents the victory of the Cuban people over imperialist domination, the victory of human needs over private profit, the victory of the working class over the gambling and drug barons. Today, 44 years later, the Cuban Revolution exists to millions worldwide as a symbol of hope for the future of humankind. It is in this same spirit that The Cuba Advocate celebrates the acheivements of the Cuban Revolution "

The CUBA ADVOCATE is a main STEERING COMMITTEE member of INTERNATIONAL A.N.S.W.E.R. Pro Castro all the way! Communist!

Al ought to come back to Castro before the program is finished and hit him again and hit him hard!

Now Dustin is denying the polls showing support for the war.

Where does money come from -- contributions from individuals.

Al presses for organizations that give money to him -- Doctors and Nurses Against the War. Al asks about World Workers Party ---- Dustin is not suprised that they would be getting money from them.

Al asks -- would that explain why you don't want to condemn Castro? Dustin -- we don't want to condemn any leader. Al -- Wait, you just attacked Bush. Do you just criticize Americans? Dustin finally agrees that he condemns Bush. One more chance --- he won't condemn Castro.

Thanks Doug. You are providing one heck of a service.

(Sounding like "JFK", the movie here): "Ask the Question! Ask the Question!" (I hope Al asks International A.N.S.W.E.R. about their "Korean Research Project Group" which is a part and parcel member of their group, but which won't condemn or even mention or take an issue on NORTH KOREAN human rights violations....

Just getting money? How about bankrolling, staffing and organizing? How about hiding behind these organizations and screaming McCarthyism anytime points out the WWP?

Dustin said he would take calls but apparently is no longer in the building.

Al is going to try to have him on his own show at night next week.

He cannot condemn CASTRO because his organization is a supporter of the Cuban Communist Party and the regime of Fidel Castro. It's blatantly on the webpage!!!

Not to mention the "Korea Truth Commission" and "Pastors for Peace" (the latter is more Castro supporters).

Have you seen their latest? The marches continue.

Doug, I'm probably going to be at the April 13th event just to see what I hope to be the last embers of a dying movement. Should be interesting. Note that the date in LA has changed to the 13th for some reason.

I wasn't angry at Al. Just the whole front group BS where their goal is not peace but stopping US military intervention....any US military intervention, humanitarian or national interest. Dicctators and despots are free to slaughter whomever and threaten the US if they should so deign. Those people make me sick.

Speaking of commies

CNN BREAKING NEWS Cuba Friday executed three men charged with hijacking a passenger ferry April 2, Cuban state-run television reported. Details soon.

Does this not job with the fry-Mumia anti death penalty crowd?

The KOREA TRUTH COMMISSION (a component of "International A.N.S.W.E.R.") failed to reply to any of my charges that there are concentration camps in North Korea all along the Chinese border in the northern provinces, engaging in torture and mass murder and that furthermore this is backed up by satellite photographic evidence as well as eyewitness reports from escapees exist, including former guards, as well as seized documents and maps. Even neutral and some liberal human rights group call the D.P.R.K. horrendous.

International A.N.S.W.E.R. would never, EVER respond to my requests for their position on human rights in North Korea, through their subsidiary, so-called "Korea Truth Commission".

Some "truth", huh?

Good news. In a few minutes, the ANSWER person organizing the L.A. protest will be on the show. She may be a UCLA prof.

How is it that an organization like International ANSWER can be so sophisticated at propaganda to attract tens of thousands of dupes, while the propaganda coming out of the North Korean regime is so pathetically transparent as to attract more giggles than anything else?

I suppose part of the answer is that International ANSWER gives as little information as humanly possible about its movement. It simply assumes everyone agrees War is Bad and tells people to march based on that.

It's an interesting (and clearly successful) strategy.

Thoughts?
